Learning Curve

This is the most recent album that I put out:

That was four years ago.

I played all of the basslines on a baritone or keyboard and all of the drums in Garageband. The guitars are a telecaster for the flavor and a semi-hollowbody for the buttery mids.

It took six self-produced albums to figure out how to properly use the EQ in the mixing process. I tried to carve out frequencies for each component of the music. Heighten the key parts and drop the adjacent ranges to intensify the contrast and sharpen the clarity.

Every album presents new opportunities to better figure out what I'm doing. Such are the joys of doing it myself.

Thank you for listening.
