Gravity

Someone started a chain reaction
With these simple machines
But this isn't the main attraction
I think you know what I mean
Does it give them some strange satisfaction
To watch it all get blown away?
I think it's time that we take some action
While there's anything left to save
But we're just bracing for impact
Holding onto our seats
Watching our lives go by in flashback
This story doesn't feel complete
Something is going down... like gravity
Something is going down... like gravity
Whoever made this inane contraption
Never built it to last
They only wanted to create a distraction
While they rob the working class
Another capital gains transaction
Wired to offshore accounts
Long division, sustained subtraction
That's what it's all about
Now we're just bracing for impact
Falling through the clouds
Someone said that we've been hijacked
We cannot let them bring us down
They are bringing us down... like gravity
They are bringing us down... like gravity
We can still stop this chain reaction
With our simple machines
Because this movement is gaining traction
We're not just letting off steam
Their illusory, strange attraction
Is showing signs of decay
Radioactive, shameful actions
We will not let them get away
They'd better start bracing for impact
Because it's a long way down
Don't think they're going to stay intact
They'll break when they hit the ground
And they are going down... like gravity
They are going down... like gravity
They are going down... like gravity
Like gravity, like gravity, like gravity...
