Turn the Page

Every time I go home
I always feel so far away
They say "Hey man, how's it going?"
And "How long you gonna stay?"
It's been a long time
Since I've been back this way
And we still tell the same old stories
Like we've got nothing else to say

Doesn't it feel strange?
Watching the scenery change
Different actors on the stage
Turn the corner, turn the page...

That drive-through was a bookstore
Owned by some people up the road
And that strip mall was a cornfield
But everything just comes and goes
It's been a long time
But I still remember
And I keep holding on
Because nothing lasts forever

So why does it feel strange?
Watching the scenery change
Different actors on the stage
Turn the corner, turn the page...

And so we say our goodbyes
And I'll see you later man
Don't know when I'm coming back
But I will see you when I can
It's been a long time
Since I remembered who I am
And this will always be my home
And you will always be my friends

It doesn't have to feel strange
Watching the scenery change
Different actors on the stage
Turn the corner, turn the page…
